Peel students celebrate literacy with award-winning Canadian authors More than 3,600 Peel District School Board teachers and students from grades 3 to 8 will participate in the seventh annual Forest of Reading Celebration at the Powerade Centre on May 17. The event will feature the Silver Birch, Red Maple and Silver Birch Express reading programs initiated by the Ontario Library Association to encourage active, independent readers, writers and thinkers. |
